About Us

We are men who have been meeting every Saturday morning for over 38 years.

Started October 3rd, 1987. The only time we don’t meet is when Christmas falls on a Saturday.

Our purpose is to Pray with each other. To Pray for each other. To allow each man to bring his Prayer request and to Pray over it. To Pray corporately for each other — for our needs, for our families, for the Church, and for any special needs brought to our attention.

Connecting with men who believe in Jesus Christ and the power of prayer. Men who believe that God is at work in our lives every minute of every day. Connecting with men who are growing in Faith and in the Knowledge of God.

When we leave, we know that we have been in the presence of God Almighty.

We are very conscious of the Holy Spirit, and how He works in our lives. Many times on Saturday there are answers to prayer before we leave the breakfast. As Rev. Don Morgan always said, “First Church is where the Spirit is Alive and Miracles Happen.”

Every man has times in his life when the circumstances of life are bigger than he is. We may be facing situations and problems that are so big, and so overwhelming, that it is easy to get confused and not know how to deal with them. At these times, if we turn to God, we can get clarity, vision, healing, deliverance, and restoration. That’s why we attend the Men’s Prayer Breakfast at First Church.

“Where two or three gather together in the Name of Jesus, He is with us.”

We seek, we knock, and we pray. Coming together in agreement, united in spirit, we call on God to intervene in our lives — and God shows Himself strong and shows up with incredible answers to Prayer.
