Prayer for Parents to Raise Child in God

Lord, today is a great day. We celebrate a new birth in our midst.

Thank You for the gift of this new baby to this family.

We commit this baby to You, Lord. Let

Your grace be upon this little one and the parents. O God, we commit this couple to You.

Empower them with everything they would need to raise this child for Your glory and pleasure.

Please Let Your holy Word fill them with all wisdom that they may teach this infant to live a godly life that loves You and the people around him/her.

May the parents know and apply tools that will help set this child on the right path.

We know You hear us, and we thank You for Your answers.
